Revit modelling at LOD4 for a Learning Disability Service Building.
The LOD4 model was created from point cloud data, the building was a Learning Disability Service Building but was being sold for redevelopment, so we were tasked in creating an as-built model to assist in the redevelopment.
This model was a pleasure to work on due to the architectural features that were present in the building.
Floor plans and elevations were all exported from the Revit model once completed.
Due to the age many of the walls, floors and ceilings are not level or straight, this can cause issues during design if this is not known. Having an as-built model ensures the design is being built around the actual state of the building.
